Hi 👋 I’m Lucas Johnston Kurilov. This is where I write about what I’m building, and the world that it is being built into.

I run Lettermark Partners, a product studio in Soho, London. You might know me from my recent secondment to the Financial Times as their Head of Product, or from previously founding Umber, a fintech for Gen-Z backed by the investors behind Monzo and WeWork.

I joined my first start-up at 14 and have spent the decade since then launching products for leading brands, governments, think tanks, as well as several of the UK’s unicorns.
